The Mann-Simons Cottage was owned by Celia Mann, who purchased her freedom around 1850 and bought this house before the Civil War. Her family lived there for over a hundred years, until the house became a museum.

Robert Mills House, 1616 Blanding St., Columbia, SC, was designed by South Carolina's most famous architect, Robert Mills.  Built in 1823, this National Historic Landmark was a former Presbyterian Seminary and now serves as a decorative arts and local history museum.

The Woodrow Wilson Home in midtown Columbia was home to President Woodrow Wilson from 1871 to 1874.  This Tuscan villa-style structure is furnished and decorated with artifacts from that era.
