The Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center

The Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center opened in September 2004. This new, state-of-the-science convention, meeting, and exhibit facility is already scheduling meetings.  Situated in the historic Vista District, this facility is close to restaurants, antique and specialty shops, art galleries, and a vibrant nightlife, and is adjacent to the new 18,000-seat Colonial Center arena.

The main exhibit hall contains almost 25,000 square feet of space; the Columbia Ballroom over 18,000 square feet; and the five meeting rooms ranging in size from 1500 to 4000 square feet add another 15,000 square feet of space.  At over 142,000 square feet, the Columbia Convention Center can accommodate the largest trade shows and conventions!

Lots of public circulation areas (lobby, registration, etc.) exist, as well as full banquet facilities and a new visitor's center.  An adjacent four-star Hilton Hotel and parking garage is now open and offers over 300 rooms and ample parking to convention visitors.
