CMRTA, the Central Midlands Regional Transit Authority

Established in October 2002, the Central Midlands Regional Transit Authority (CMRTA) is committed to providing safe, dependable and accessible public transit service to the heart of the Midlands of South Carolina. Since 2002, the CMRTA has provided transportation for more than 2 million passengers, expanded route services and introduced 43 new ADA accessible buses that offer a safer and more comfortable mode of transportation.
